1. Who processes your data
The data controller is the developer of the AutoTube app. For privacy matters, you can contact us through the “AutoTube – Video on Android Auto” community on Messenger, through the AutoTube Facebook page, or by email: powermont.apps@gmail.com.
2. The app does not collect personal data
The AutoTube app itself does not collect any personal data.
3. Permissions on your phone
On first launch, the app asks for standard permissions, e.g. accessibility services (optional – not required for normal use of the app), display over other apps, and auto start. They are used only to make the app’s features work, i.e. for the picture and controls on the car screen and for starting automatically. We do not use them to collect data.
4. What data we process and why
- Gmail address. You provide it when you buy (in the payment reference) or in the “Try the app” form on this website. We use it only to send you an invitation to the Google Play testing program and to give you access to the app. Together with a form request, we store the date, country and browser type in order to handle the request and protect the form from abuse. The request is also sent to our email inbox.
- 2-day trial. To count down the 2-day trial, the app sends a technical device identifier to our license server. You don’t need to pay anything or provide a card.
- Payment. Payment is handled by the provider you choose: Revolut (card, Google Pay or a transfer to a Revtag), PayPal, or BLIK to a phone number. We cannot see your card or account details. We only receive a payment confirmation with the information the provider shows, e.g. the sender, the amount and the payment reference.
- License activation with a code. After the trial you don’t reinstall the app. Once you have paid for the license, you receive a code that you enter in the app. The license server checks the code and assigns the license to one phone using a technical device identifier. We store it only to link the license to it and to allow the license to be transferred to a new phone.
- Contact. If you write to us by email, on Messenger or on Facebook, we see what you send us and use it only to reply and help you.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes. Data goes only where it is needed to provide the service: to Google (the Google Play testing invitation and our Gmail inbox), to the payment provider you choose (Revolut, PayPal, or BLIK through your bank), to Cloudflare (servers for the website, the form and licenses) and to Meta (Messenger / Facebook, if you write to us there).
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to powermont.apps@gmail.com, in the Messenger community or through the AutoTube Facebook page.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change anything in this policy, we will update this page.
